TRIBUTE TO SR. MARY AUXILIA

God writes with a pen that never blots…..

God speaks with a tongue that never slips…..

God acts with a hand that never fails!

Our God is an awesome God!

Yes, in total charge God found Sr. Mary Auxilia fit and worthy to be with Him eternally by keeping full stop for her earthly suffering on 25.05.2023 at 11.58 PM.

Our dear Sr. Mary Auxilia was born on 28.03.1947 to Mr. Swaminathan & Mrs. Stella Upagara Mary as the first fruit of their love among 4.  She was brought up with much faith and love.  Though she is the only girl child among 4 children her beloved parents offered her generously for the service of the Lord.  Responding to this call she lived it faithfully as a consecrated person in our FSM family for 52 years.  Sr. Mary Auxilia was very gentle in her dealing, calm and serene in her nature, loving and caring for the young children and poor girls.  She was dedicated in all the given tasks specially handling the government office works meticulously without any complaints or any complements from anyone.

Life is eternal and love is immortal.  Sr. Mary Auxilia had compassionate love towards sisters, students and helpers.  She had produced silently abundant fruits through her actions in different places through various ministries such as animator for many years, coordinator in social service centre and boarding in-charge in Salem, Chennai, Christupalayam, Mathagondapalli, Elathagiri, Surandai, Trichy and Bangalore.  Due to her ill health she was brought to St. Louis Hospital, Krishnagiri on 8th January 2023.  She spent her last days thanking the Lord for all His goodness and prepared herself to meet Him through her suffering.  The frequent visit of all her family members, sisters and loved ones gave her courage and strength to endure her suffering graciously.  She was very grateful to everyone who did a little service to her with smiles.  During her hospitalization from March she began to decline in her daily activities, and slowly from mid April she was completely bed ridden and not responding vocally, though she suffered consciously.  And for the last two days she was not responding at all and on May 25th 2023 at 11.58pm she surrendered herself to her creator in the presence of the sisters of the community and hospital staff.

We thank God and thank our dear Sr. Reetha Paul Superior General and Sr. Miriam Provincial Superior whose constant support we experienced.  Thanks to all the medical personnel for their generous and selfless service for our sister.

Dear Sr. Mary Auxilia we are deeply indebted to you for your genuine contribution of your life to our FSM family and church at large.  Though we miss you physically here on earth we believe that you are with the Lord interceding for us.

May her soul rest in peace.   Amen.

Your loving sisters of

St. Clare’s Hospital Community
